This week, I’ve been mostly eating Bachelor food again:
The last of the Summer vegetables: fresh artichoke, a small courgette and a bulb of fennel, stir-fried with oil and lime juice, served with spicy croutons, a poached egg, and crushed black pepper.
Bouillon of Beef, steamed potatoes with tender beef and horseradish sauce. This included my very own home-grown horseradish.
Roasted rack of pork, with spicy potato fritters and quince-glazed apples.
Imam Bayildi. Always a favourite.
