DSC_0523This week, I’ve been mostly eating quickies:

A chicken fricassee with egg fettuccine (a quickie when you have left-over chicken meat from stock making),

A summer pizza: tomato, basil, mozzarella,

A lovely summer salad with eatable flowers, chicken livers and poached quail eggs, followed by crispy chicken on roasted tomatoes, served with sage fettuccine, then again followed by a cherry bread pudding with fresh cinnamon ice cream (not a quickie, this one, but a winner, with some of the ingredients shown in today’s photo),

Spaghetti Marinara (and made a dent in my stock of frozen seafood), and finally,

Imam Bayildi with cinnamon rice.
